| Understanding
the bush is the focus of this hands-on
safari. |
|
|
| The
course is run by wildlife expert and
esteemed safari guide trainer Derek Solomon
(pictured right). |
|
| Tracks
and tracking skills, how to approach
dangerous game on foot and in a vehicle are
an important part of this safari.
|
|
| Wildlife
identification is another exciting aspect
– from mammals to birds; reptiles to frogs
and insects.
|
|
|
Participants
will learn about the medicinal and
traditional uses of trees and snacks of the
bush, and maybe taste the ‘fruits of the
bush’.
|
|
| Learn
how to spot or look for nocturnal
animals with powerful spotlights, find out
about the night skies and how to navigate
using only the stars.
